In 1947, Kenichi Mabuchi, Founder and Honorary Chairman, developed the Horseshoe-Shaped Magnet Motor.

The small direct current electric motors are being used extensively in our daily lives. Though they are unspectacular products, they work behind the scenes as important components in a multitude of electronic equipment such as Automotive Products, Audio & Visual Equipment, Optical and Precision Instruments, Home Appliances, Power Tools and Toys & Hobbies. They eliminated the plugs and electric cords from various devices and thus improved convenience and user-friendliness in using such devices and they have been changing our life style.
Now at the beginning of 21st century and at the arrival of a graying society, we are at the dawn of a ubiquitous computing society, in which diversified range of devices will be connected each other through the network. In such society, our products have hidden potential to become a huge business in a new and inconceivable application market.
Mabuchi Motor has been, since the foundation, operating as a company specialized in the field of small direct current electric motors aiming, with a corporate philosophy of "the realization of the contribution to the international world and its continuous expansion" , at the realization of a fulfilling and enriching society and a society comfortable to everyone through the supply of reasonable and high quality products.
