MABUCHI MOTOR TAIWAN LTD.

In accordance with Mabuchi's Management Guidelines "Conduct corporate activities that promote the preservation of our earth's environment and our own human health," based on our best efforts to minimize environmental burdens and guarantee safety, we promote the following corporate activities in order to observe our established environmental management system:

  1. While we precisely recognize and evaluate the environmental impacts associated with our business activities, we continuously improve the environment and prevent occurrence of environmental pollution.
  2. We observe both environmental protection laws/regulations and other environmental requirements, and secure environmental safety for both people in the community and our employees.
  3. Based on the environmental impacts associated with the business activities, we set environmental objectives and targets, and make efforts to continuously improve the environmental management system and our environmental performance through periodically reviewing the objectives and targets.
    1. In order to decrease environmental burdens, we cooperate with the headquarters-promoting activities such as reducing/stopping use of environment-related prohibited substances and continuously utilizing Standard Procedure for Green Procurement.
    2. In order to prevent occurrence of adverse impacts on the environment caused by unusual or emergent situations related to chemical substances, we appropriately control substances such as cleaning solvents and oils.
    3. We reduce the amount of energy used by promoting energy saving, make efforts to recycle wastes, and realize effective utilization of resources.
  4. While we document this Environmental Policy and make it known to each of our suppliers, each of the staff members of our contractors working in our company, and all of our employees or their representatives, we carry out activities for maintaining the environmental management system collectively and as necessary disclose this Environmental Policy to external stakeholders.
