MABUCHI MOTOR DANANG LTD.

We deeply recognize that our business activities for manufacturing and selling small electric motors are inseparably connected not only to our regional environment but also to the earth's environment itself. Our aim based on this recognition is to "conduct corporate activities which preserve the earth's environment and protect human health."

  1. We recognize the impacts of our business activities on the environment, make efforts for environmental conservation by observing relevant laws/regulations and other requirements, and aim at securing health and safety of our employees and local residents.
  2. We establish the environmental management system, set environmental objectives and targets, and make efforts to continuously improve the environmental management system and our environmental performance through periodically reviewing the objectives and targets.
  3. Out of environmental impacts associated with our business activities, we have designated the following three items as environmental control items to be focused on:
    1. We take proactive action toward energy saving, recycling, and reducing weight of wastes.
    2. We appropriately control chemicals such as cleaning solvents and oils that are in storage.
    3. We appropriately manage our products in order to eliminate mixing of ELV and RoHS regulated substances (lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, and brominated flame retardants (PBB and PBDE)) into our products.
  4. We actively provide education and training to our employees in order to heighten their awareness of environment.
  5. We familiarize our employees with this Environmental Policy and as necessary disclose it to external parties.
