Mabuchi Motor Co., Ltd. (President: Takaichi Mabuchi) has obtained Certificate of ISO14001, International Standard on Environmental Management System.
As a global company expanding/spreading manufacture and sales activities on small electric motors in eight countries/territories worldwide, Mabuchi Group has been making continuous improvement on environmental protection at all Mabuchi sites based on its action guideline, "to make business activities without sacrificing environment of the earth and the health of people."
Now that we have obtained the ISO14001 certificate as one of our measures for environment, we believe that we have got a new tool for and took a new step toward environmental protection. From now on, we will put this system into our overseas production sites (seven companies) one by one and carry out our corporate activities aiming at obtaining the Certificate at all the sites by June, 2001.
