As a specialized producer of small electric motors, we have been engaging in business with the aim of establishing our business structure to supply inexpensive and the best in quality of motors. The market for small electric motors in increasing in size every year, and demands for our products recorded all-time high in the year before the last and the last year consecutively. We are predicting that the increase in demands will continue.
In order to deal with further increase in demands in the future and our increasing responsibility to supply small electric motors to our customers, we have acquired (ground-leased) a new factory site in Vietnam. The following are the outlines of our new production base:

*In 1996, we established MABUCHI MOTOR VIETNAM LTD., one of our production subsidiaries, in Bienhoa City, Vietnam and have been producing motors in the subsidiary since then. Therefore, the new production base will be the second production base in Vietnam.
