Notice of the structural reforms of Mabuchi Motor Co., Ltd.
and the employee movement involved

This is to inform you of our recent structural reforms and employee movement involved:

Aims of Structural Reforms

The aims of the structural reforms this time are to promote rapid managerial decision-making and to enhance our operation managerial framework by making each department/section belong to headquarters through the introduction of headquarter managerial system. Thus we established Operation Control Headquarters and Administrative Headquarters in addition to Sales Headquarters and Research and Development Headquarters, to strengthen our automotive electric component business and effective use of our employees by disintegration of Power Unit Motor Dept., and allocation of its sales functions to Sales Headquarters, its development functions to Research and Development Headquarters, respectively. (Thus we have newly established Sales Department 3 and Research and Development Department 2.)

  • Established Purchasing Department in Operation Control Headquarters. (Separated purchasing functions from Operations Control Dept.)
  • Established Administrative Headquarters.
  • Established Accounting and Finance Department (former Accounting Dept.) and General Affairs Dept. (a department formed by integrating former Human Resources Dept. and former General Affairs Dept.) in Administrative Headquarters.
  • Established Sales Department 3 in Sales Headquarters.
  • Renamed Research and Development Dept., a department in Research and Development Headquarters, to Research and Development Department 1.
  • Established Research and Development Department 2 in Research and Development Headquarters.
