Mabuchi Motor Co., Ltd held a groundbreaking ceremony of its second motor production plant in Vietnam on October 27, 2005 at the plant site of Hoa Khanh Industrial Zone, Hoa Khanh Commune, Lien Chieu District, Danang City, Vietnam attended by representatives from Vietnamese government, The People's council of Danang city and Embassy of Japan in Vietnam as well as President of Mabuchi Motor Co., Ltd.
The initial production volume is scheduled to be 100 million units per year. The production capacity will be increased to 300 million units per year by the year of 2010. The number of employees at the time of production commencement will be 3000.
Vietnam Mabuchi, established in Bien-hoa, Vietnam has been producing motors of over 300 million units. The production ratio in Vietnam of Mabuchi motors goes up by the entry of Danang Mabuchi.
