Announcement regarding Introduction of Executive Officer System and Executive Personnel Revisions associated therewith

Mabuchi Motor Co., Ltd. hereby announces that the Board of Directors held on October 15, 2009, resolved the introduction of the Executive Officer System and personnel revisions associated therewith as follows:

Introduction of the Executive Officer System

1. Purposes of the Introduction
   Through this System, the Board of Directors concentrates the strategic decision-making and monitoring functions on Directors and gives Executive Officers operational authorities and responsibilities, thereby strengthening the functions of both Directors and Executive Officers and further enhancing Mabuchi’s corporate governance.
2. Outline of the System
   • The term of office of the Executive Officers shall be two(2) years.
   • Directors except Chairman shall also assume duties of Executive Officers to keep the coordination between the Board of Directors and the operational divisions.
3. Effective date of Introduction of the System:
   • The System shall be introduced on November 1, 2009
