Reason for revisions
As for the outlook for the whole financial year, there are signs that demands have been recovering as the inventory adjustments in markets seem to have almost finished though the degree of recovery varies depending on the country and region. Among all, automobile sales in developing countries are on the trend of increase though those in the developed countries are unenlivened yet and seem to require a fair amount of time until full-fledged recovery.
As for our markets, the future of demands in the next period is still unclear. However, demands have been increasing for the second quarter and the third quarter consecutively and we foresee demands for the fourth quarter will be more than we expected. Thus we revised our sales forecast for the whole financial year to 69,000 million yen (increase of 4.5% from our last forecast). Also we revised the last forecast (announced on August 7, 2009) for operating income, ordinary income and net income respectively.
There is no revision to the originally expected annual dividend for the fiscal year.
